Quant researchers juggle strategy development, backtesting, live monitoring, and trade review across disconnected tools and spreadsheets. We set out to prototype a single mission-control dashboard that answers the questions a researcher actually cares about: what is running, why did a trade enter or exit, which signals perform, what is the current risk exposure, and what happened in the latest backtest.
Designed and built AlphaNavigator as a dark-mode command center with a left sidebar and view switching across Overview, Strategies, Signals, Backtests, Trades, Edge, Charts, Analytics, Logs, and Settings. A deterministic OHLCV generator shares the same Candle contract a real bars API would use, so charts can be pointed at live data with no UI changes.
Next.js 16 App Router with React 19 and TypeScript, Tailwind CSS v4 theme tokens, hand-rolled shadcn-style primitives, Recharts for equity/returns charts, and TradingView lightweight-charts for candlesticks with volume, overlays, and entry/exit/stop markers. Pure indicator math (EMA/SMA/RSI/Bollinger/ATR/VWAP) and an expected-value module (R:R, EV, breakeven win rate, Kelly).
A detailed breakdown of our systematic approach to delivering this AI transformation, including key milestones, deliverables, and how we overcame challenges.
AlphaNavigator delivers a polished, data-dense research dashboard whose synthetic data layer shares the same contract as a real trading API, making it a credible foundation for a live product.
Data-dense UI that stays legible and fast
Charts can be pointed at live data without UI changes
Trade decisions are auditable through a decision timeline
Edge heatmap makes genuine edge easy to spot
“The shared Candle contract means the charting layer is production-ready even though the data is synthetic”
Reusable charting and indicator patterns for financial products
Proven approach to data-dense dashboard UX
A credible base to wire to a real bars/trades API

Schedule Your AssessmentKey takeaways and lessons learned from building this project.
“AlphaNavigator showed how far a prototype can go when the mock layer respects the same contracts as production. The charting and edge analysis are genuinely useful, not just pretty.”
We'd love to hear about your project and explore how we can help.

Businesses using multiple SaaS tools (CRMs, project management, billing) constantly face fragmented data. Manual exports and imports between systems are error-prone, time-consuming, and quickly fall out of sync. We needed to build a platform that lets non-technical users connect their tools and keep data synchronized in real time.
View Case StudySmall businesses need CRM functionality but existing tools are either too simple (spreadsheets) or too complex and expensive (Salesforce, HubSpot enterprise). We set out to build a modern, full-featured CRM that covers deals, contacts, time tracking, and invoicing in one cohesive application — with an API-first architecture.
